Dear Telx Customers & Partners,
Greetings and Happy New Year! As the CEO of Telx I look back on 2009 with much pride on what we have achieved and I look into 2010 excited about the future.
First, I have to say thank you for a fantastic year. Because of you, Telx expanded in our existing facilities in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Phoenix and we opened our newest facility in Clifton, New Jersey. While our strategic focus will always remain interconnection and the ability to support your network centric applications, Clifton demonstrates our ability to support all of your growing IT infrastructure. We also announced a new and strategic partnership with TATA which will provide many benefits to you, through the additional capabilities and global go-to-market solutions now available through this alliance. In addition, we expanded our portfolio of products adding our Video Exchange and Financial Business Exchange products and services. So thank you for a great year.
As I look ahead to 2010 I am excited to think about what we have planned. New applications like video and cloud computing continue to drive more opportunities for us to work together and for Telx to offer you beneficial interconnection and colocation solutions for you to run and manage your businesses. In addition, I received your feedback from our annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. Those results have helped focus our priorities for 2010. For example, you told us in specific facilities you wanted more power and cooling. In December we announced a major upgrade in Atlanta as a direct result of your feedback and have plans for others. Your feedback is invaluable to our business and we will continue to work hard to earn your business every day. FPL FiberNet
FPL FiberNet, LLC, an award-winning wholesale and enterprise broadband service provider has extended their footprint into the Telx data center located at 56 Marietta Street, Atlanta. FPL FiberNet offers traditional SONET and SDH transport, as well as Ethernet and Dedicated Internet Access service to Atlanta, GA via its long haul network.
FPL FiberNet provides broadband services to telecommunication providers, wireless carriers, ISPs, enterprise
and government agencies. The robust network handles SONET, Ethernet and IP protocols and covers the state of Florida with approximately 4,000 route miles of high quality, high count fiber. The extension of the FPL FiberNet footprint into Atlanta marks the significance of the growing market requirements for diverse broadband transport in both the wholesale and enterprise sector.
