Direct connections are the heart of Telx’s carrier neutral data centers. As part of our interconnection services family, direct physical cross connects enable circuit interconnections of every network technology type on passive interconnection panels. Through these cross connections Telx empowers customers to build infrastructure, buy bandwidth, and sell applications with new and existing business partners.

Direct Connect services offer the security and reliability of hardwired cables, connectors or jacks, providing high performance, secure and scalable connections for any protocol or network technology. Direct Connect products are offered in a variety of formats enabling connectivity from low speed legacy voice systems to high speed carrier backbone networks. Direct Connect services offer the highest security and the lowest latency contribution to suit the application or network performance needs. Telx customers have the choice of the Cross Connect product for use within the Telx Suites and the Riser Fiber product for intra-building and multifloor extensions.
